Happy Emo-Ween

Happy Halloween! It is truly the spookiest day of the year because NaNoWriMo starts tomorrow and I have no plan for how to tackle it this month. Every year the last week of October creeps up on me and I throw myself into an attempt at writing a whole lotta words with no roadmap.

At least this year I know what my NaNoWriMo is about! In all the activities I had constantly ongoing in October, work on my book fell down to zero fairly early on. I have SO MUCH work to catch up on.

NOSTALGIA BLAST

14 years ago this month, Ryan Gosling’s band Dead Man’s Bones released their self-titled album. It is the perfect spooky album to get in the mood for Halloween and each year I hope for any sort of new music from the group.

DIARY ENTRY

No, I did not write a poem that started as a simple Halloween themed thing that morphed into an “I’m waiting for My Chemical Romance to announce something and its driving me up the walls” poem and then named it after a bible verse - even though I’m atheist.

Oh wait. 😅
