This week I began learning how to format covers and manuscripts for self-publishing. I’m working on creating and publishing a prompt-based music journal as my test run. Be on the lookout for that dropping next week, hopefully some of you will grab a copy and then let me know how it turns out.

What did y’all think of last issue’s little poem? It’s definitely a first draft, but I like that I was able to force myself to put it out there, instead of letting the words rot, unseen in a doc. I tend to write and write and write, decide it’s not good enough to share, and then leave it in my Google Drive to collect dust. Rinse and repeat.

I’m trying to break that habit - there’s another poem down below, so yay for momentum.
