Lately, I’ve been fairly active on Threads. There seems to be growing communities of musicians and writers that I’ve enjoyed conversing with in various thread replies. Where Threads is at currently in terms of conversation and number of active users is like this sweet spot where there’s value in what people are talking about and its not quite too spammy or overridden with ads just yet.
I also need to shout-out a few bands that I’ve connected with on there, including XOM and Anacortez. I’m hoping in the new year I’ll have a chance to see these bands live, and when new music is out I’ll be talking about it in my weekly link roundups.

Scheduling note for the rest of the month: I’ll be traveling back to Texas for Christmas in a few days, not sure yet if there will be a newsletter next week, and I’m for sure skipping Dec 26th. If I don’t talk to y’all until Jan 2nd - thank you all for a wonderful year. Getting this newsletter off the ground has been incredibly fulfilling and I’m excited to keep going! I am so appreciative of each of you who reads these emails week to week.
